TV.Berlin is the local telestation for the people of Berlin. Every day about 500.000 people watch this programm. In the process of moving their studio location, TVB asked der Leuschner. to create new studio-backgrounds.

Der Leuschner. was asked to design an artificial skyline of Berlin in three layers. The skylines were built as a collage from different notorious berlin buildings. The layers, each of them with a different height, form the overall picture and give it a spacial depth. All three layers are illuminated differently by the light engineering. Whether for talk shows or the daily news - the skylines change their appearance depending on the lighting.
